Procrastination Pro-Tips: We Need Diverse Books

Well, it’s finally May, so I guess we’ve entered spring after all!  (And for those of you who complain that the May joke is overdone, well, I only get to make it once a year, so let me have some fun!)  Every week I think each week is a busy news week, but I’m starting to realize...there is just too much news.  There is just more media than any one human to consume!  Anyway, let’s get to our links, starting with the YA’s big diversity campaign!

Book Related Things

WB just announced a Justice League film, directed by Zack Snyder.  Apparently WB has a total of NINE DC comics films planned, including Sandman and Fables.

Steven Spielberg is going to direct an adaptation of Roald Dahl's The BFG.

There’s a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles trailer.  Yep.  Still creepy.

Not sure who her character will be yet, but Hailee Steinfeld has joined the cast of Pitch Perfect 2.

A romcom starring Amy Poehler and Paul Rudd?  Yes, please.  A bunch of cool ladies I like in a spy comedy?  Yes, again.

TV Related Things
