These flowcharts get more complicated all the time; to compensate this month, I've color coded the book suggestions by scariness, rather than figure out how the hell to include scariness as a flowchart choice without making the damn thing three times bigger. Also, it turns out we don't really read many scary books! So please, leave suggestions in the comments so we can all get the shivers this weekend. I've included a list of all the books at the bottom, complete with links, so if you have to bail on the flowchart, just pick one at random! They're all good! Here's the link to the original Google document if you want book report linkage WITH your flowchart; clicking on the picture will just take you to the full image, sans links. Share your results and recommendations in the comments!
Also, what's scary is fairly subjective, and I miiight have overestimated the fear factors here. And sorry, dystopia lovers, but you'll pretty much have to shift for yourselves, since there's enough dystopia -- frightening and otherwise -- out there to keep you busy for the next 100 years, and it's practically falling off the bookstore/library shelves into your laps these days (the same goes for vampires, not that they're scary anymore).
