Welcome back to YA Onscreen! It's a little bit of a slow news week thanks to the holiday, but we still have plenty of scoop for you.
Starting with these TERRIBLE character posters from ABC Family Freeform's Mortal Instruments series Shadowhunters. Guys. These are really bad. I'm not saying the show is going to look dirt-cheap and tacky, but these posters sure are dirt-cheap and tacky.
Speaking of ABC Family Freeform, the Famous in Love cast continues to fill out.

Little Joey King's star is definitely rising - the lead of the upcoming Stargirl adaptation has just been signed by UTA. On a personal note, I saw her on my set visit for The Conjuring, and she was incredibly professional and helpful, even volunteering as another kid's stand-in during what should have been her break. This kid's going places!
