Earlier this month, I reviewed Maggie Hall's Map of Fates, the sequel to The Conspiracy of Us. The second installment in the action-packed story of Avery West traverses the globe and introduces us to several of the families who make up the Circle, an Illuminati-style group on a mission to solve an ancient prophecy. Unfortunately for Avery, this prophecy seems to dictate that she marry one of the Circle heirs, resulting in a strange matchmaking journey around the world.
Each stop on the Map of Fates blog tour reveals some tidbits about a Circle family, and I'm super happy that we get to host the Rajesh clan, because that Dev Rejesh is a charmer!
RAJESH
Based in: India
Motto: Moving ever forward
Eligible heir: Dev Rajesh
Circle Fact: In the 1940s, the two children of the Rajesh family, a twin brother and sister, both felt like they had claim to be the next head of the family. A brutal, bloody civil war spouted from the family dispute, and finally led to the splitting of India and Pakistan. The Circle officially recognizes the Rajesh family in India, but the family in Pakistan still claims that it should be their birthright, and it is an ongoing source of conflict today.
