Welcome back to YA Onscreen! Let's hop to.
Looks like Tom Holland - Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War and the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming, plus a total charmer - is signing on to play Todd in Chaos Walking opposite Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Daisy Ridley! What great casting. So excited about this adaptation. Doug Liman's a strong choice as director, too.
Ooh, we're going to get a Throne of Glass TV series on Hulu!
I'm rather liking the Emerald City trailer, because I'm a sucker for gritty Oz (not the same as gritty Oz).
I'm SUPER SUPER liking this Riverdale promo, obviously, because I'm a sucker for Riverdale.
Hey, cool:
Another piece of good bookish news that I'm thankful for: the EVERYTHING, EVERYTHING movie has a release date: August 18, 2017!

Anne Rice got her mitts back on the rights to her Vampire Chronicles, and she's hoping for a "Game of Thrones-type show." IN.
I don't know if you noticed, but the Gilmore Girls revival launched last week! Over the space of one week, I wrote over 8,000 words about it. I wrote up each season here on FYA: "Winter," "Spring," "Summer" and "Fall." I also wrote up a post on how to throw the best possible Gilmore Girls party, and I wrote up the whole revival over at BMD.
That's it for this week! Give us your thoughts downstairs.
