THIS WEEK ON THE 100
9 days prior to ALIE’s defeat, a young Grounder named Ilian killed his father and brother while under ALIE’s control and watched as his mother passed from her injuries. Naturally, he blames Skaikru, and is willing to go along with his clan’s leaders in their play against Roan. Octavia overhears it, but when she and Kane take the news to Roan, he’s not quite willing to fight back. Yet.
At Arcadia, Clarke, Bellamy, Raven and Monty discuss what they’re going to do about the radiation, and Monty realizes that Arcadia—the space station—is just what they need. But in order to survive for an extended period of time, they need water … and the only way to provide enough is to get a piece of machinery from Farm Station. Bellamy and Miller plan a trip to Azgeda to retrieve it.
Naturally, the Ice Nation captures the small crew before they get to Farm Station, but Roan’s insignia saves them from being killed. The Grounders agree to let them get the part they need, but when they go inside the crashed station, they find that some of their people are alive and living as slaves. This, of course, will not stand, so they blow up the machine they came for rescue the remaining members of Farm Station. When they return to Arkadia, Raven’s peeved that they blew up the generator, but the lack of options makes Clarke realizes that it’s time to tell everyone the situation.
Back in Polis, Kane tries to talk some sense into Rafel, the Trishanakru ambassador, but to no avail. Roan prepares to fight, but struggles with his injury. Octavia takes it upon herself to take Rafel out, secret-like, and his death is ruled as “natural causes,” but Ilian is suspicious.

- Monty sciencing the shizz out of the situation and realizing that they might already have most of what they need to survive.

- The return of the bestie self-five! All the heart eye emojis.

HOLY SH*T X 100
- KANE AND ABBY GETTING IT ON!
- Octavia showing up like a straight up angel of death and stabbing Rafel In. The. Head.
ARKADIAN OF THE WEEK
Bellamy the Rebel Prince/Clarke’s partner in leadership showed the hell up this episode. His decision to save the slaves at Farm Station to the detriment of the greater good (for the time being) was certainly shades of the Bellamy we knew and loved pre-Pike. I, for one, couldn’t be happier.
SAY WHAT
“You’ll lose. Lexa kicked your ass. Without a bullet hole in your chest.”—Octavia, speaking her mind (and the truth).
“And that’s why we need to tell everyone. Crowdsource it.”—Raven, ever the pragmatist.
“You can still come with us.”—Bellamy, causing Bellarku to swoon all over the damn place.

“I guess they think it’s the end of the day, not, you know, the end of days.”—Jasper, showing signs of his old, snarky self.
“We have 6 months, we have Raven.”—Bellamy, echoing his Princess in his unwavering support for Raven’s skills.
BURNING QUESTIONS
- I’m not the only one who thought it was totally hot when Bellamy spoke Grounder, right?
- Who’s this Riley guy? What does he mean to Clarke?
- Similarly, who’s this Ilian guy? And is he any threat to Octavia (she says with a laugh, remembering everything about Octavia)?
- How long until Echo finds out that Skaikru is worrying about themselves surviving over the Grounders and the whole alliance falls apart?
Let’s take it to the comments.
