THE ACTUAL BOOK RELATED QUESTIONS
The first two books involve quite the love triangles, so what are your favourite love triangles and your allegiance for each in books, TV, and movies?
I know love triangles are divisive but I truly love them because I like the feeling of desperately wanting it both ways.
Books: Katniss/Peeta/Gale
TV: Felicity/Ben/Noel, Buffy/Angel/Spike, Olivia/Jake/Fitz
Movies: Bridget/Mark/Daniel, Sabrina/Linus/David
You've mentioned before that John Ambrose McClaren is the whole reason that you wrote P.S. I Still Love You. So what would you say was your main motivation for writing Always and Forever, Lara Jean?
My main motivation was I missed her! I also thought, how neat to be able to come full circle with Lara Jean. In the first book, she watches her sister leave for college, and now it's her turn.
Now that the series is coming to an end...
What's been your favourite part of this experience?
Writing the sisters.
What's been the most difficult or challenging part?
Figuring out how to end her story.
What will you miss the most?
Kitty.
Just putting this out there: I'd be down for a teenage Kitty spinoff!
We have to know: what's the latest on the potential To All the Boys adaptation?
I have no new news, but I hope to have some news this summer! Fingers crossed.

Sorry -- but no! Haha. I am not even thinking about it until after I finish tour and send Lara Jean off with fanfare. I always have a few things cooking, but who knows? I could be enticed by some shiny new idea and change course.

If your real life adolescence was a YA book, what would you, the main character, be like?
A lot like Lara Jean.
Who is your secret crush?
My best friend's older brother.
What is your number #1 source of angst?
Algebra 2.
At what point would the reader pump his/her fist in victory?
When I tell off my youth pastor for telling me my skirts are too short for church.
And who would play you in the film adaptation?
An unknown Asian actress who goes on to become Sofia Coppola's muse.
