It’s Sunday, SUNDAY, Sunday, TV fans, which means that it’s time to check out the results of the past week’s Teen TV Madness voting. There were a few close races, and perhaps a couple of upsets, but overall, the results seem pretty unsurprising.
The week’s closest match was probably also between the two most disparate shows: Happy Days narrowly beat Misfits with 55 percent of the vote (to 45 percent). I’m pretty sure Nathan would think losing to Happy Days was f***in’ ridiculous. (He’d likely also call Richie Cunningham a wanker if he ever met him in real life … but he would compliment his cardigan.)
The week’s biggest win goes to The Vampire Diaries, which won over fellow CW show The Tomorrow People with 91 percent of the vote. The Tomorrow People still got 50 votes (to TVD’s 517), which is probably at least 25 more votes than I expected it to get.
On a personal note—thank you to those of you who voted for Roswell; it beat Pretty Little Liars for a spot in the second round by 53 to 47 percent. I doubt it’ll get past this round, as it’s now up against TVD, but I’m a happy (Tabasco-loving) camper for the moment.
