YA Guide To The 2012 Texas Book Festival

Here at FYA HQ, we are huge fans of the Texas Book Festival. We've lunched with Meg Cabot, moderated a panel with Sarah Dessen and Libba Bray, and met a ton of incredible authors and YA fans. It's a wonderful opportunity to let your book nerd flag fly, and even better, it's located in Austin, TX, home of queso, margaritas and Posh & Jenny!

This year's festival begins tomorrow, and we couldn't be MORE EXCITED, Y'ALL. Like, we kind of need to calm down, because it hasn't even started yet, and we need to conserve our energy/livers for Saturday, but it's Friday and PRE-PARTY IS IN EFFECT.

If you're anywhere near Austin this weekend, you absolutely must head downtown and check out the amazing line-up of writers, speakers and musicians. There's some great authors in adult literature who will be present (Justin Cronin, what what!) but since this is FYA, we're gonna focus on the young adult representatives.

So here's a handy dandy list of YA panels, and if you attend one that Posh or Jenny is moderating, please do say hi! (We may or may not have champ cans in our purses.)

So hopefully we'll see some of you this weekend, and you best believe that next week we'll post a recap of all of the magic!!!!
